Royal Agio Cigars has announced that it will begin distributing La Flor Dominicana’s premium cigar products in both the Netherlands and Germany. This new partnership will commence at the InterTabac trade show in Dortmund, Germany, Sept. 21-23, 2018.

This new partnership gives Royal Agio Cigars an even bigger portfolio of Dominican premium cigars, especial for the European market. Currently, Royal Agio Cigars’ Balmoral Anejo XO and San Pedro de Macoris handmade lines are produced at the company’s boutique factory located in San Pedro de Macoris, Dominican Republic. In addition to La Flor Dominicana, Royal Agio Cigars also distributes Drew Estate, a mostly Nicaraguan-based cigar brand, in select European markets.

“We are honored to partner with Litto and Ines in Europe and have a tremendous amount of respect for the high level of quality and craftsmanship for their handmade cigars,” commented Boris Wintermans, CEO of Royal Agio Cigars. “La Flor Dominicana’s innovative portfolio of products nicely complements our current line-up of handmade cigars in Europe and we look forward bringing these great brands to cigar lovers in Germany and The Netherlands.”

La Flor Dominicana was founded by Litto and Ines Gomez in 1996. Since its inception, the company has focused on quality, creativity and innovation to help build its brands. La Flor Dominicana already has world-wide brand recognition. In 2016, the company’s Andalusian Bull cigar was voted as the Cigar Aficionado’s Cigar of the Year. Litto and his son Tony Gomez will be present in the Royal Agio Cigars booth during InterTabac to help launch and support this new distribution partnership.
