Smoke Inn Cigars has announced the Tatuaje Anarchy Kaos as the first Microblend Series release of 2019, partnering with Tatuaje Cigars for the fourth time since the series debuted in 2010.
Tatuaje’s offerings in the Microblend Series have long been a favorite for cigar enthusiasts, with the original Tatuaje Anarchy marking the first release in the decade-long series. This cigar was then followed by the Tatuaje Anarchy Apocalypse in 2012 and a re-release of the Tatuaje Anarchy in 2015.
Kaos will become the third unique shape in the Anarchy sub-series, being rolled in a 6¼” x 49 format that has been finished with a 109-style head and an exaggerated pigtail cap (a signature for Anarchy cigars). The blend is essentially the same as with past Anarchy cigars, being tweaked to accommodate the new size. This includes a maduro-shade Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and all-Nicaraguan binder/fillers, which has been rolled at the My Father Cigars factory in Estelí.
Unlike former Anarchy releases, the Kaos will be accompanied by an even more limited version of the cigar: The Pale Horse.
This cigar contrasts the Kaos’ dark wrapper with a light Connecticut Shade wrapper alteration. The Pale Horse will only be available to VIP attendees of Smoke Inn’s The Great Smoke pre-event dinner (held on Friday, Feb. 21st), hosted by Pete Johnson of Tatuaje Cigars. Guests to this dinner will receive two Anarchy Kaos cigars and one Pale Horse cigar.
Anarchy Kaos will be released on a wider scale than former Microblend cigars, with “1,750 1,500 boxes being offered through Smoke Inn’s online and brick-and-mortar locations, as well as an additional 500 boxes shipping to select third-party retailers.”
There have been 2,250 2,000 boxes of 10 cigars created in total, being priced at $125.00 ($12.50/cigar) and launching on March 2, 2020 March 9, 2020.
